Designing for Lifestyle
Sullivan Studio is an award-winning interior design practice guided by a single conviction: that a beautiful home is a setting for a life well-lived. Based in Menlo Park, we offer full-service interior architecture and design—but our true work begins long before any drawings, in the careful practice of understanding how our clients live and what they dream of coming home to.
In close collaboration with architects, builders, and trusted partners, we shepherd each project from first concept to the final placement of every object and piece of art. Our design language is rooted in interior architecture—the custom millwork, organic materials, and couture details that make a home feel distinctive and inevitable. To this foundation we bring furnishings sourced from around the world: artisan-made, often commissioned, chosen for their craft and the joy they bring. We create homes that are curated, personal, and built for generations.

Linda Sullivan
Founder & PrincipalLinda Sullivan has been called "the client whisperer"—and it is perhaps the most precise description of what she does. Before anything else, Linda listens: to what clients say, to what they need, and to the life they are trying to build.
Linda is the Founder and Principal of Sullivan Studio and a Bay Area native with over 35 years of experience in interior architecture and design. After completing a BS in Interior Design & obtaining her NCIDQ license, her career began at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, where she worked on projects including the historic renovation of San Francisco’s Palace Hotel, before going on to found Sullivan Studio in 2006.
That grounding in commercial practice gives Linda a distinct advantage in running her own firm, where she brings both architectural rigor and a rare empathetic intelligence to every project. Her design philosophy is rooted in clarity of function, thoughtful proportion, and an intuitive understanding of people—who they are, how they live, and what will make them feel most at home. Named Best Interior Designer by Silicon Valley Magazine, her work has appeared in Luxe, the San Francisco Chronicle, and other leading publications.

Silvia Hendrawan
Design DirectorSilvia Hendrawan grew up in Java, Indonesia, where a garden outside her bedroom window was her first and most lasting inspiration. That early sensibility never left her, and it quietly shapes everything she designs. Silvia is Design Director at Sullivan Studio, where she brings a BFA in Interior Design from California State University, Long Beach, and LEED accreditation that reflects a commitment to sustainable, conscientious design.
After creating flagship stores for high-end retailers like Thomas Pink, Prada, and Bvlgari, Silvia discovered what she valued most was the personal connection that only residential projects make possible: the chance to get to know a family and help create their dream home. She and Linda share a belief that the most beautiful interiors are calm, deliberate, and rooted in the natural world. Silvia lives in the Bay Area with her husband and two children.

Bailey Sullivan
Operations DirectorBailey Sullivan grew up understanding, almost by osmosis, that a beautiful home is not a luxury but a necessity. The daughter of two designers, she was raised in an environment where spaces were always intentional—where flowers appeared on tables and rooms were made to feel, as she puts it, magical.
Bailey honed her strategic instincts at Sonder, a global hospitality company, where she developed brand standards across properties worldwide. She arrived at Sullivan Studio with a clear conviction: that the firm’s work deserved recognition equal to its quality, and that getting there required building the right foundation.
As Operations Director, she applies that same systems thinking to operations, culture, and brand. She works alongside her mother in what she calls her dream job, building something meaningful together.
When she’s not running the studio, Bailey can be found hosting dinner parties, arranging flowers, or hiking the trails of the Presidio.
